Deleting your account

You can delete your AgEzy account and its data from inside the app, at any time, without asking us.

From the app

1. Open AgEzy and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → General.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm when asked. You will be shown exactly what will be removed before anything happens, and you will be asked for your password (or to sign in with Google again) first.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. There is no waiting period and nothing to cancel.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@agezy.com.au from the address on the account. We will verify that the address is yours and delete the account for you. Allow up to 30 days, though in practice it is done within a few business days.

What is deleted

• Your account record: your name, email address and sign-in credential.
• Your membership of every organisation, and the role that went with it.
• Your two-step verification setup — any registered phone number, authenticator secret and unused recovery codes.
• Any invitations you had sent that had not yet been accepted.
• Any organisation where you were the only member, together with everything recorded in it: its properties, paddocks, jobs, inventory, stock movements, contracts and documents.

What is kept, and why

If an organisation has other members, that organisation and its records stay — they belong to the business, not to you personally, and other people are still working from them. Where a record noted that you were the one who made it, that reference is removed, so the record survives without naming you. This applies to operational history such as loads and vehicle movements, and to the security audit trail an organisation's Admins can read.

Deleted data may persist for a short while in encrypted database backups, which exist so the service can be recovered from a failure. It is not restored from them except to recover from such a failure, and it ages out as those backups are rotated.

One thing that will stop you

If you are the last Admin of an organisation that has other members, the app will refuse until you promote somebody else to Admin. Deleting the only Admin would leave everybody else locked out of their own records, with nobody able to let them back in.

Deleting some data without deleting the account

Individual records — a job, a load, a paddock, a document — can be deleted inside the app by anyone whose role allows it, without affecting your account. Leaving a single organisation while keeping your account is done by an Admin of that organisation removing you from its member list.
